Hidden Manna Family/Community/Veteran Services has gently-used household items for delivery to needy families and individuals which have been repaired by our experienced crew of handymen, carpenters, and mechanical engineers who volunteer their time to make donated items functional for use.  A list of real estate agents, home staging professionals, and others who regularly donate household items, most often by referring their interested clients to Hidden Manna, is available upon request.  Tax-deductible donations of household items to Hidden Manna can be arranged via HiddenMannaFoodBank@gmail.com by texting pictures to 206.406.1090.

Hidden Manna has the same tax deduction status for donated household items as other charitable organizations such as Goodwill Inc. in the sense that workers at drop off locations give blank receipts but cannot assign specific dollar values to donated items.  Hidden Manna will pick up gently-used household items in our trailers (saving you from transporting  to a drop off location) and also accepts donated motor vehicles, trailers, boats, etc. which we then attempt to make functional.  If cost to fix is prohibitive, vehicle donations are scrapped for their metal.  Hidden Manna has a tow truck available to pick up vehicles which are currently non-functional.  Donors who plan to claim a tax deduction for a charitable donation of $5,000 or more for a single item (such as a vehicle, trailer, boat, etc.) should get an independent appraisal before donation and then keep a formal record kept in case of a future audit.  Please see  www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/when-are-appraisals-required-donations.html for Internal Revenue Service regulations which state that values claimed for tax purposes are sole responsibility of the donor, with representatives of charitable organizations prohibited from establishing or assigning value to donated items.

Hidden Manna now offers health, diet, fitness, environmental, and financial consultations with qualified professionals to improve overall family wellness, and also assist with access to health insurance and other public and private assistance resources.

Hidden Manna is currently hoping for donation of a permanent facility, but until then deliver donated household or clothing items we are not able to immediately give away to:
